About Me
Hi. I’m Cat, a baby and toddler sleep consultant and mum of three little people and one dog.
My background is in child psychology and I have been working with children in the early years for over fifteen years. I have worked in nurseries, schools, home visiting and therapeutic services.
After having my first child in 2018, I became obsessed with all things sleep. Appreciating just how vital it is for our mental health, wellbeing and simply being able to be to parent. I read research papers, read books, listened to podcasts and talked about it… a lot.
When I returned to work in 2019, I was given the opportunity to develop this new passion and completed my first course in infant and child sleep. This allowed me to offer sleep advice to families with children under the age of five as part of my existing job role at a children’s charity.
In 2021, I had my second child, and whilst on maternity leave began further study to become a certified infant sleep consultant so I could begin taking on extra clients on a self employed basis. Of course, this grew arms and legs and following encouragement and positive feedback from families that I helped, I made the leap to start my own business, Time for Z. I am now an accredited and recognised member of the IACSC (International Association of Child Sleep Consultants), a qualified maternity nurse and have worked with hundreds of sleep thieves.
I am not here to judge your parenting. I am now a mum of three and I know we are all just doing the best we can and making it up as we go along! Instead, I am here to work alongside you to demystify your child’s sleep and make recommendations on how we can improve things together.
